Over the years Sam has replaced the stair banister rails and spindles from a cheap painted pine to solid oak. He has fully replaced our kitchen, and all the doors in the house from standard panel doors to oak doors.

A little while later we decided it was about time we had a second loo (growing family: grandchildren!). Naturally we thought of Sam & Co so they came round to look at the “site”. The choice was between inside the garage or, at the other extreme, behind the extension-block. After some walking round and chatting Sam went away to work on it. In a short time he came back with ideas and a list of pros-and-cons. We chewed them over and decided on the “inside the garage” option. It was soon started and before long we had our “room within a room”. Sam arranged for all the “other disciplines” people to make their contributions at the appropriate times (plumber and drainage before electrician, e.g.). The finishing touches, like the tiling surround of the sink, the heated towel rail, the ceiling-mounted fan heater, were all attended to with due discussion and execution (some last-minute adjustments going very smoothly). We had arranged that we would finish off by doing the painting ourselves, so the fact that the copper pipes are still bare has nothing to do with Team Calico. The final sign-off was simple and on schedule.
Another job that they did for us was renovating the doors upstairs. That involved cleaning, smoothing and painting. That all went off totally efficiently and expertly done.
All in all we were very pleased with the friendly attitude, wealth of ideas at the design stage, expert execution, helpful and considerate conduct (everything was left clean and tidy at the end of each day) throughout the jobs.

Sam and his team at Calico have completed several pieces of work for my Wife and I: -
New double plug fitted instead of a single plug in the lounge and dining room
Replaced the conservatory lights with newer ones
Additional light switch in the garage
TV bracket fitted in the conservatory, wires chased out and made good
Tap replaced in the kitchen
Replaced en-suite sink push waste
Easing of the en-suite door
Replacing of the skirting and windowsill in the en-suite
All these jobs required varying skills; as per the other work Sam has carried out for me I cannot thank him enough for doing a fantastic job, the work was on time, to the quoted price and I was kept informed regularly of the progress made.
I have several larger Projects, which I am getting Sam to quote and carry out.
