Calico provides post-project cleaning as well as regular domestic cleaning, with a friendly two-person team bringing their own equipment and cleaning materials.
The final part of the project
We always do our best to reduce dust while working in your home. Extraction, careful preparation, protection and dust suppression are used wherever practical.
However, larger building and renovation projects naturally create fine dust. Some of this can continue settling onto surfaces after work has been completed, particularly around skirting boards, doors, window sills, furniture and other horizontal surfaces.
Instead of spending your weekend cleaning after the builders have left, you can ask us to arrange a dedicated post-project clean.

How much does a post-project clean cost?
Our post-project cleaning service is charged at £40 per hour. The amount of time required will depend on the size of the property, the type of building work completed and the level of cleaning required.
How much does regular weekly cleaning cost?
Regular cleaning starts from £28 per hour with a minimum two-hour visit. For many average-sized homes, a two-hour regular clean is sufficient. Larger homes or more involved cleaning requirements can be quoted separately.
Do you bring your own cleaning products and equipment?
Yes. Our team can arrive with the cleaning equipment and materials required for the agreed work, so you do not need to supply everything yourself.
Can I ask you to concentrate on something different each week?
Yes. Regular cleaning does not have to be completely rigid. Once the normal cleaning duties have been covered, you can ask us to prioritise particular areas such as skirting boards, windows, doors, bathrooms, kitchens or another area of the home.
Do I have to have building work carried out by Calico first?
No. Although post-project cleaning works particularly well alongside our renovation and building services, you can contact us about cleaning after work completed by another contractor too.
Can you arrange waste clearance as well?
Yes. We can also help organise skips, rubbish removal and waste clearance. This can be combined with cleaning to help return your property to normal after larger projects.
